A Family Legacy: Volume I, Seiler/Boehm, was developed as a multigenerational record documenting the immigration journeys and heritage of the Seiler and Boehm families. The objective was to transform dispersed legacy materials—including personal writings, archival records, and family photographs—into a cohesive, structured volume for future generations.
Our role began with organizing and consolidating materials gathered across family sources. We worked closely with the author’s daughter, who served as the primary liaison with her father, to develop the book’s structure and outline. Together, we shaped a clear narrative framework that preserved historical integrity while strengthening continuity and readability. This included developmental editing, guided writing support, and strategic restructuring to ensure the material flowed cohesively across timelines and family branches.
We managed full interior formatting and layout design, thoughtfully integrating family images throughout the text. The cover was designed from concept to completion, and all files were prepared for Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), guiding the project through independent publication.
The result was a professionally produced legacy volume that honors family history while ensuring clarity, preservation, and long-term accessibility.
